On Sunday morning Wyatt Henson, class of 2021 committed to the Hawkeyes. Henson projects at 141-149lbs weight class in college.

If the name Henson rings a bell, you may remember Sammy “The Bull” Henson. Wyatt Henson’s verbal set the Hawkeye Nation abuzz on Sunday.

I went to the practice on Saturday and enjoyed watching the recruits soak in what it feels like to be Hawkeye.

Mid-way through the warm ups, some of the recruits realized Patrick Kennedy was working out on side line. It was only a matter of time until most recruits were on bikes or lifting weights. Pretty cool to see them inspired to do so. At the end of the practice, Hawkeye Legend Dan Gable and good friend Mike Doughty came over to meet the recruits.

Sounds like a great day to become a Hawkeye!
